What happened with your warranty? Should should have taken it directly to the dealer with trying to fix it yourself.

Likely water getting ito the dor and some part rusting and dripping down through the drain holes. It should not be too late for the dealer to address the problem.

Unhappy

Well the 1st time i showed the dealer he just brushed me off telling me that it was common. I knew that wasn't right. It kinna got me pissed off. That was in the spring.....so i cleaned the holes out and put in touch up paint. Fall comes along with rain and the problem came back. I go back to the dealer and hassel them. I guess u have to grind them hard cause its going in next week. I hate dealing with dealers not from this but prior experiences too.

why hassel them? they have absolutely no ground to reject your rust warrantee. that's like 6yr or 100000 miles or something like that. weird. ???

ok the car was brought in today and nothing was done for the 2nd time. very disappointed. dealer says nothing can be done. says he can see no rust. shouldn't they have to open up the door panel to see inside? I have showed it to people and can clearly see it. These guys r a bunch of bozos! next time it rains I'll have to take it in again....well take no for an answer! Anyone with any advice or sugestions? I will call acura canada!

My guess is that what you are seeing is rail dust from transport. Wash, Clay, then wax the car. See if it still has a problem.

noticed rust stains from drain holes in doors during 1st washing of new '06. Both doors, just passenger side. It rained so much that week that the color was faintly showing on the outer trim just below respective doors.

Plan on letting the stains reappear (just inside door), and taking to dealer.

Other than that, all smiles

Ok, I got a call back from the dealer after I filed a complaint on line with acura canada. He says that now it could be old glue or somthing like that. I didn't want to hear any more run around stories so i told him I'll be in again(3rd time) as soon as it it appears. Today i sprayed water all in the holes and all around the edges of the door closed. Wat a hassel cause i know i'll be back. I'v owned many cars even 10 years older that have not had a rust issue. Rust doesn't go away and spreads if not eliminated completly.
