RPM shift problem

hey guys i need some help and advice. im wondering if anyone has experienced this problem that im having with my car. i have an 07' tl type s automatic (tiptronic).... when i punch it from a stop or a roll and the rpm revs past 5500k i get a jumping needle like if theres a limiter there then after like 2-3 jumps on the rpm it then shift into the next gear. (automatic) when i drive it in tip-tronic it does the same thing but instead i have to shit if into the next gear obviously... but after the 2-3 jumps then in continues to redline.... one last thing... without punching in (WOT) like easing into the high rpms.... i dont have this problem .... does anyone know what this is?? how to fix it?? y i have this problem??? HELP PLEASE!!!

I don't really understand what you are saying... do you think you can capture it on video to show?

transmission's slipping. better do the fluid swap and switch changes asap. worst case scenario you need a rebuild due to the wear on the clutch packs.

Dont go driving up a steep hill. Fried my parents' Odyssey transmission going up a hill on the fwy.

it's really the least you can do to save the transmission.

If it's a dirty pink it definitely needs replacing.

thanks..... i spoke with my dealer, i will take it in for "B" service (b/c the light came on) and i mentioned it to him... they will look at it . worst case if its the transmission that has to go, they will give me a new tranny under warranty. so its either full "B" service with a ATF swap or full "B" service with a NEW TRANS... hope this fixes the problem.
