Rough Shift From 3rd To 4th Gear

Rough Shift From 3rd To 4th Gear
Hello. I have an '08 TL auto and the transmission 'clunks' into 4th gear during normal acceleration. It is not a smooth transition...you can really feel it shift gears. Is this a normal characteristic of this vehicle? Thanks.
