So i've had this problem since i changed my battery 2 years ago.
the idle in my 03 tl will go from 650 to 1k when im at stoplights and such, but it doesnt do it all the time. mostly when i push the brake pedal in it will seem to act up. ive looked into diy for iacv, egr, maf, and other fixes but i am short on time and cash and this is my daily driver; i wanted to know if anyone had a solution for this issue that they could share with me.

Do a search in the 2nd Gen TL forums-- you may get more responses than here in the 3G TL section.

I'd guess IACV, but the idle problem in the Odyssey minivans was often an ignition wire in the steering column.

If your rough idle was due to the EGR valve or ports, a CEL light would have shown up within a week.
