Unhappy Rodents Eating the Wires

I'm not sure if anyone else on the forum had the same experience but I have. After troubleshooting my 07 Acura Tl for CEL, no shifting above 2nd gear, inaccurate Temp readings etc. I discovered dog food on top of the tranny and the wires on one of the harness had been eaten by a rodent. Please see the article in the attached link, this is a problem with many manufactures especially Honda. BTW I was able to splice the wires and the car is running good again, just in case I will visit a junkyard to see if some TL are available with a harness.

I live in a rural area; chewage happens regardless of brand of car.

These lawyers are getting bold... I can't believe they're trying to sue a RAT!

Can you imagine trying to get the rodent to go into a court of law? How would you enforce that?!
