Reverse Mirrors

When I put my car into reverse the mirrors don't go down unless the side mirror switch is switched to either to the left or right mirror and that is the only one that goes down. Any fix?

This is normal operation. Putting the switch to either L of R lets you view the side of the car before backing up.
