Resetting Brake Pistons '07 Type S (Front)
I know to use search and I have and have also used the DIY Garage.
I saw on a write up in the garage that they used a special tool to reset the pistons which is great but I dont have that tool or can find it locally. (https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-2004-2008-93/d-094-diy-complete-brake-job-pics-624404/)
Then on another thread they did not use that tool at all (https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-performance-parts-modifications-112/3g-garage-d-094-brembo-hawk-pad-replacement-w-pics-579140/) which I like better since I don't want to wait or buy that tool lol.
On the second one they said you can use a flat head screw driver to push the pistons back while the old pad is still on or use a C-Clamp but I dont think a C-Clamp will fit in there the way that it is needed.
What I am asking for what are your recommendations for resetting the pistons without the use of that specialty tool?
Thank you

honestly, 90% of ppl use the screwdriver method...just do each piston 1 at a time with small pushes and keep rotating, no harm in that.
but the "legit" way is the oem piston retractor tool, it pushes all pistons back at the same time

Here's the cheap tool I like for our Brembos: http://www.anchortools.com/product.php?product=698 I think I either got it on ebay, or at Harbor Freight.
I use it against the old pad, and it's really easy.
