Ive done the reading even tried several basic honda and acura suggestions re the matter using a paperclip in the harness under the steering wheel I get as far as the wierd blink but it never resets or goes off ... My question was was there a specific way to do this for our cars? thx

You have to diagnose the problem first/ get it fixed, because let's say your driver air bag deployed and you never got it replaced then the srs light will still stay on until the necessary components are replaced.
