Replacing Front Motor Mount

So I'm dropping the subframe and replacing the front motor mount on saturday. Anything I should look for/remove/replace while I'm under there?

look for anything torn! lol

you'll know if something doesnt look right.
be it a broken piece, something leaking, torn rubber, etc.

if replacing the front mount is all you're doing there's no need to drop the subframe unless there's something else to be replaced. Seems like a lot of unnecessary work!

I havent done one on this car but after masterminding with a friend who owns the shop I'm going to do it at, we both agreed we needed to drop the subframe. If you know another way to replace the front motor mount let me know

I made a DIY: https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-problems-fixes-114/diy-front-motor-mount-854098/

There's even less you need to remove than what I did if you want to take the time to wiggle it out and in. good luck!

Just did mine. No need to drop the subframe. Remove the coolant reservoir. You only have to remove the pass. Side fan. Follow ez12a instructions on how to do that. You don't even have to remove the lower splash shield. You can get to the bottom 10mm from the top. Just use a 1/4 ratchet and a shallow 10mm socket. Just feel for it. Once you have the fan removed. Loosen all the bolts from the mount. Raise the car up and place a block wood under the oil pan. Lower the vehicle just enough so you can slide the mount out. Slide it to the side of the removed fan and carefully work it out. Be very careful because you might damage the radiator.its a tight fit. --------- Don't forget to remove the pass side mount and vacumm line before you raise the motor!!!!!!!!!!. Did this in under an hour. BTW I used the 03-07 accord mount. Cheaper than the tl.
