Replaced battery, now driver side window won't auto roll

Hey guys so I had to replace the car's battery as the poopy one from Acura died on my Friday night. (Appears to have been leaking acid from the top.) My wife said it started fine for her that morning but by night time she barely started.... So anyways back to my problem now.

With the battery replaced I had to do the nav and audio code, but I noticed that my drivers side front window won't do the auto up/down thing. My 4runner has some sort of auto window reset, does the TL also have to do the same thing? Or what.... help me out guys!

When you push down on the window switch, hold it down a couple seconds after it is fully lowered.

The same for when you want it to go back up, just hold it a couple extra seconds. That will program it.

Thanks a million! It's back to normal, I know my wife would of been like WTF is wrong with my window.

Too bad Acura doesn't put a little info sticker under the hood like Toyota does to warn you to do this.

why does this happen ... seems to be a common issue for many cars?

Window master switch has to 'relearn' after loss of power. Not sure why it can't automatically reprogram itself.

but this is good stuff, i'm in need of a new battery myself, but car is in storage so i'm not that of a hurry...but just curious. what other problems aziners might run into such as the window and radio code...etc.
