Reoccurring issue with VSA
Hey all, I have a 2008 TL Type S and have had a reoccurring issue with the VSA light coming on. Yes, I have the dreaded triangle with the exclamation point. I replaced the Cruise Control Module about 4 months ago and it was fine for a few months, then the problem came back! I can't believe that this will be the 3rd time this module has gone bad. There must be something else going on. I've had 3 other Type S's and haven't had this problem in any of my other Acuras. The only other thing I'm experiencing is "tighten fuel cap" message is always coming on, even after I replaced the cruise control module. Yes, I replaced the fuel cap.
I'm thinking something else is causing the Cruise Control Module to go bad. Could it be related to the fuel cap issue? Is there possibly a vacuum issue? What are your thoughts on this?
Also, I notice there is a speed sensor? I haven't replaced that yet, but would that make the Cruise Control Module go bad? Here's a link to the speed sensor I'm referring to: https://www.carparts.com/details/Acu...E&gclsrc=aw.ds
The part number for the Cruise Control Module I replaced is: RDAA027-008947
Do you have any ideas about this situation?

Why do you thing the Cruise Control Module is failed? What led to that diagnostic? As already stated, go somewhere to have a proper scan done to see what the system is upset about and go from there.
Tighten Fuel cap is usually related to the purge control valve or something like that. Lots of threads on here from the past 10+ years. Fairly common issue and fix.
