Hi All,

I've used only premium gas (91 or 93 AKI rated) on my 2006 TL 3.2w/nav. I wanted to know if using regular (87 or 89 rated) would make any negative changes to the way my engine runs and sounds. Also, will it affect my fuel economy?

Please advise.

Yes to everything.

you will lose power, lose MPG.
the TL is a high compression beast, with the ratio at 11:1.
Lower octane will detonate early, which in turn the ECU will retard timing, and this affects performance and fuel economy.
