Hi Guys

I need some help.

I noticed this either early in the morning or at night when its dark out.

The rear window looks really dirty ( streaks )from the inside when headlights from the car behind shines thru.

I used some auto glass cleaners and and wiped it down good last night after work.

This morning, I still see the streaks. This is annoying me.

What would you advise?

 

Material outgassing deposits on the inside of the window. Clean inside of window with Invisible Glass or similar non-ammonia glass cleaner 4-5 times.

I think I've only used the auto glass cleaner once/twice at the most for this.

 

It may take many, many cleanings to get your window nice and clean. A lot of the outgassing deposits are from adhesives in the vehicle so it's (exactly) like trying to remove superglue with glass cleaner. You'll get a sore arm and back trying to reach the inside of the rear window, too No easy way around it. Just takes effort and elbow grease.

 

Honestly, no window cleaner has ever worked for me. I just use a soft paper towel to clean off streak marks and it's worked for me.

 

I heard about Invisible Glass.

I'll get me a bottle and try it out.

This is really bothering me.Is it just me or any of you guys have this issue?

Back window is so dirty and its so hard to reach to clean the inside.

Taking the rear head restraints out makes it a little easier.
