For some reason, my rear view mirror randomly will rattle even on smooth roads sometimes. It's a constant buzzing sound and extremely annoying and all I have to do is tap it with my finger and it will go away but come back seconds later. I have tried adjusting it to different positions but nothing has worked. Anyone have this problem before and fix it??

 

We had this problem on a 2000 TL.
It made noise then it dropped in the holder a few months latter.
I do not have this car anymore but suggest you shimm
the mirror to holder before it also drops.

 

Its a simple fix. you have to open up the innards of mirror mount, bend the metal grips for a tighter grip then re-screw.

 

thanks for the response, but you wouldn't happen to have any pictures would you? I have no idea on what to do cause I don't want to snap it off or anything
