Rear right abs sensor help needed!

Hi guys I'm new to the forum and new to Acura TL coming from a 2001 Lexus ES300 and I love the car but the car has VSA and ABS light on so my friend has a snapon car scanner and we found the rear right abs sensor to be bad so we went ahead and replaced it with a new one and them we reset the computer with the snapon scanner and the lights came back on it still says that the rear right abs sensor has a open or short circuit! So now I don't know what the problem is does anyone here have any insite as to what it could be.

You will have to trace the abs wire back to the computer and test it. I would start there, it may just be a break in the wire or connector. The downloadable service manual will help as well.
good luck

OK I used a multimeter to figure the continuity of the wires and wires 5 and 6 are the rear right abs sensor to give the VSA module a signal. But number 5 wire does not have continuity so the wire that goes all they way to the rear ABS sensor has a short or break somewhere from the VSA module to the wheel and I cant tell if the wire goes underneath the car or into the car.

I'm starting to think that its a bad abs sensor ring on the hub is this a possibility?

You did say there was no continuity though right? That could still be the issue. double check that If you infact do have continuity, then look at the ring.

When I had those lights appear it was the wheel speed sensor that was the problem. Once that was replaced the lights never came back. Check it and good luck! Just for shits and giggles go to Autozone and have it rescanned too.

I already replaced the sensor and wheel hub and I still have the lights even after I reset the ECU.

UPDATE: Took my car to my friends shop and he connected it to his Snap-On scanner and reset the code and the lights didn't come back on!!!!!! I thought reseting the ECU would reset the abs light after I replaced the HUB but he told me that the code comes from the ABS's computer and stores the code there and not on the main ECU so the light would have never turned off if I didn't use a scanner!
