Rear doors wont open!

Recently purchased this vehicle. My rear doors will not open at all. When I hit the unlock switch on the drivers door the rear unlock knobs move up a little bit but not fully up. Outside door and inside door handles do not open doors. I pulled up on the unlock knobs with a vise grip and nothing. I cannot remove the door panels until I get the doors to open. Thought of unbolting the doors from the hinges but then what? So, how do I get the doors open?
Thanks.

Sounds very common. What looks to have worked for other people, you'll need a 2nd person to pull the exterior handle while simultaneously you pull the interior (either handle or lock knob) up. You might need to push the lock knob DOWN first, so you can pull UP on it as much as possible.

Scan Tool Codes

I used my EXtool D7 scan tool to trouble shoot the my rear door issue. Still nothing. No trouble codes are showing up for the door locks the scan tool opens the front doors but still the same problems on the rear. I might take it to the autobody guy here and pick his brain. On the bright side, the rear interior is immaculate.

Thanks for the help. I tried this by myself and still nothing. I'll get my buddy over here around beer 30 and give your suggestion a try. Thanks.

Beer 30 usually fixes everything. Especially a nice double-IPA. After a few too many of them, you'll forget all about your door problems

Boom; problem solved.

Door update

Ok, I used a borescope to look at the door lock mechanisms. The rods that acutate the door to open are connected and they are moving, both the inner and the outer handles. The locking mechanism looks to be corroded so I sprayed it with penetrating oil the best I could. Lets see what happens.

Rear Door Wiring Schematic?

Does anyone know were I can find the wiring diagram for the rear doors? I can disconnect the harness at the pillar and apply voltage/ground to the proper wires and see if I can unlock the doors.
Thanks for any input.

Here's the 07-08 electrical troubleshooting manual (the link has been posted here so many times I have no idea who to give credit to for uploading it lol):
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/dsxqvazck..._07-08+ETM.pdf

From a brief glance, pages around 130 are related to troubleshooting the power lock control (MICU above the under-dash fuse box). Pages around 140 are related to troubleshooting the physical lock actuator/mechanism (which I suspect will be difficult for you since it requires removing the door panel). The door pillar harness connectors you're talking about are C751 (Gray, 8 Pin), LEFT REAR DOOR WIRE HARNESS and C781 (Blue, 8 Pin), RIGHT REAR DOOR WIRE HARNESS. The pinout diagrams for those connectors have gotta be in there somewhere.
