Rattle from steering wheel?
The dealership fixed my center speaker rattle yesterday, now i have another rattle coming from the driver side. At first i thought it was the left vent, I weatherstripped that and no, then the sunglass holder and no, the piece above the foot pedals and no. so i'm pissed and bang the steering wheel while the car is parked in the driveway and i can hear the damn rattle.
I banged around the navi and center console and i can't hear it, but if i bang above the speedometer i can hear it but faintly. It is only when I am driving and banging on the steering wheel that I can hear it. I am pressing around places and keep on banging and I have narrowed it down to the rattle coming from in between the top of the steering wheel column and under the speedometer. Anyone ever had this before and any ideas on how to fix it. thanks

I have a slight rattle coming from my steering wheel. It goes away if I put my fingers in between the top of the airbag and the steering wheel. If I pull it towards me it will go away. I know where it is and still comes back from time to time. The car is great and a little rattle like that never gets to me to bother with it. I would think it's somewhere behind the airbag. I hope this helps.
