Rattle to shocks.......

Folks,

For those who know me well, I'm not for one to complain about little things... especially on a car. I have a 2004 TL with 29,xxx miles on it and never had any rattles until 2 weeks ago. The rear deck would have this clicky click sound whenever I drive and pretty noticable when going over a bump....

So I took took the rear center speaker out and foam taped around it... next day... didn't work. The sound seems like it was coming from the rear right...
In order to get into the left and right rear speakers, I had to take the seat out, rear deck/board out.... (40 mins job since I had to figure out where the bolts were).... and decided to fucking tape the entire rear deck with DYNAMAT product. So after 2 hours... I test drove it again........... rattle still there! WTF........

This time I went to the truck and try to diagnosed the rattle (but can only be produced when vehicle is in motion......) so I had to have somebody drive it while I pinpoint the exact area....... So now I'm trying to figure it out from the truck..... by ripping everything out int he trunk and taped all the possible wires, cables, tubes that may cause the rattle...... basically Dynamat the entire truck too....

no worky......... I even foam taped the rear 2 air bags cables.... no worky neither...... Ask my uncle for help and he immediately said it could be the shocks... the plastic part could be loose..........

so after nearly 30k miles and 2 weeks of investigation........ I find the ultimate solution....... WD40 that shock and everything went away...........

Basically.... I fixed any future rattle in the rear deck of my car....(DYNAMAT the entire trunk and rear deck area) even though the cause of the problem wasn't there............... :sigh:

Took me 2 weeks to decide to fix the rattle and another week to find out it was shocks...... mainly because I didn't give a shit about the rattle hahaha.... when I'm in my car... it's either music is blasting, windows all down(windy), or listening to my supercharger whine.....
