I have a rattle just forward of the garage door opener buttons near the headliner and rear view mirror. If I press on it, the rattle goes away. Does anyone know how to remove the plastic section that contains the garage door opener buttons/lights? This rattle is driving me crazy!

 

This is a new rattle to me. I'd love to offer some advice, but haven't heard of this one before. If it's towards the top you might just wanna have the dealer look at it.

I would be happy with one rattle, i've got 4k miles on my 07 tl and got at least 5. One of them is the front left tweeter, but I'm not gonna let the dealer take my dashboard apart.

 

im having exactly the same rattle problem!! and it's getting worse!!
im guessing it's the wires on top of the garage door opener and moonroof console that causes the rattle... but not 100% sure

I just started getting this rattle! Out of nowhere one day, it appeared and it's driving me crazy. Mine, while it sounded like it was coming from the overhead console, is actually coming from the bracket that holds the sun visor on the headliner. Grabbing it with my hand will temporarily make it stop, but it keeps coming back. If I could only get rid of that one and the SUPER annoying one from my steering wheel I'd be very happy.
