Clear Coat overspray on windshield - Solution
Clear Coat overspray on windshield - Solution
Hi everyone,
I just wanted to share a quick solution that worked for me. I do a lot of highway driving, so my front bumper and windshield had lots of stone chips in it.
I decided to get them both painted last week, but when I got home from the paintshop, I noticed as I was driving that my windshield has some clear coat overspray on it. After doing some research and talking to a few guys who do a lot of detailing, I decided to try some superfine steel wool (#0000) and Stoner's Invisible Glass.
It worked like magic! My windshield is crystal clear again. In case any of you ever run into this problem after getting a paint job, try the steel wool and Stoner's.
Hope it helps!

Also works for water spots on the glass.
