Rattle fix - kind of

I like to keep loose change in the car. Usually I do that in the ashtray, but my 06 6mt doesn't have one.
So, I was using an Altoids tin, but the change was rattling around in it.
Last night, I lined the tin with a scrap of felt left over from re-felting my pool table.
This morning, Voila! quiet change.
Two tins fit perfectly side-by-side in the center consle compartment.
So now I can have my change and toids too.
Mike

Yes, I also use the built-in coin holder.

It's a PITA to put the coins in one-by-one, and it doesn't hold pennies.

for pennies, i just stick some in the nickel section, then put a nickel onto to keep it un there, BTW, i use debit more than cash because its easier and harder to get stolen.

I don't use pennies. I give them a nickel and throw the pennies on the ground.

But pennies in the nickel hole is a good idea

Understood. I only use the coinholder to ensure that I have change for parking meters, which don't take pennies, so I don't use the coins in the coinholder 95%+ of the time.
