Hello TL lovers,

Is there any way to determine or locate the radio code for my car? I have a 2007 Acura TL-S. When I bought it, owner was missing the manual and it slipped my mind to ask for the radio code if he had it. Now I can't contact the previous owner and need the code before I reset the ECU on the car.

Any help much appreciated. Thanks.

 

sometimes its printed on the side of the glovebox (left hand side, on the outside) if you can't find it, and you have no manual/card...put your VIN number into acura's database website and see what dealership it has been serviced at in the past. give them a call and ask them what the code is, they'll have it on file.

that's what i had to do when i bought my car. no navi or radio code. you can imagine my frustration the first time i unhooked the battery.

Before pulling the radio, etc., also check the top of the underhood fuse box-- sometimes techs put the radio and Navi codes there-- and the spare tire compartment under the trunk floor-- dealers have been known to put manuals and the code cards there.

^what he said...any Acura dealer should be able to get your radio code by the VIN number.

 

Believe it or not there are actually ways way easier than all if that lol. Reluctant to advertise it since there are lots of shady ppl out there tho. Lol. Not necessarily saying OP is one of them, but google loves AZine lol
