I'll keep this short, about to hop a ride with a buddy to get back to my car. I have my iPhone with me, so I will check back here frequently.

Yesterday I took my 2005 TL to the mountain to get some snowboarding in. Unfortunately, I lost my keys (with my only remote) on the mountain. Stupid me.

I went home and got my replacement key, I only got the key and the CompuStar remote (no Acura Key Fob). When I got back to my car, I unlocked it and the alarm sounded. I then turned the car ON and the engine over and the alarm was still going! I had to disconnect the battery and ditch it there overnight.

My ride is here, but I will post more details/answer questions on the road. Please help!!

Well that was stupid. I got to the car, and realized that the first time you turn the key in the handle of the car, the lock pops up. It takes 2 turns to disable the alarm...?

LOL at least you solved it but um you should consider on having a spare. i would have lost my keys 360-ing down a mountain too
