I found a leak on the radiator of my 06 MT TL last night. I'm currently looking around online for a replacement radiator. I see some that has an external oil cooler and some do not. Do I need one with or without the oil cooler? I just want to be sure before I make the purchase.

No oil cooler. In fact I believe the A/T and M/T are the same.

 

As the OP has an '06, I'm speaking of the '04-'06 TL's.

MT has no engine oil or transmission oil cooler. The 5at has a cooler on top of the trans and it's fed coolant from somewhere. I would assume from a couple nipples on the cool side of the radiator but I've never actually looked to see where the water lines come from. Regardless, get the one without the cooler provisions.
