Radiator cap replacement

just a quick question fellas. have an 05 TL auto with 82,000 miles. bought used and to my knowledge the rad cap was never replaced. cooling system works great just wondering if the cap is a part you replace as preventive maintenance or just leave alone until it stops working properly. thanks in advance!

Hmmmm...... I've never heard of replacing the radiator cap as a maintenance item. Of course if it's damaged, replace it. If not, I'd leave it be. Some people upgrade it for high pressure, but it's not necessary.
