Question about switchbacks

I've installed switchbacks in my headlights but only one lights when the lights are on. It works fine when I turn on the blinker. The connections are good and solid. Any ideas?

Thanks

I had one go out right away, then another, I ordered another set and they work fine. I sent V-Leds an e-mail and they sent me a return address to return the bad ones.

You order switchbacks for the turn signals? Do you remember the part number?

Do you typically have to add a load equalizer to the switchback circuit to ensure the lamp works? Do you add anything to the circuit to slow down the blinker rate?

I will look for paperwork. 48 M-SMT V-LEDS switchbacks require a 6 ohm resistor to slow down the blink rate. Reg bulbs have alot more resistance then LED bulbs. Mount the resistors to steel or an aluminum mounting plate also sold by V-LEDS. I didn't use mine, I mounted the resistors to steel.

try switching the defective switchback to the other corner/blinker light connector just to make sure nothing happened to the connector. If it still doesnt work email vleds.com
