Problems with...axles, shafts, steering...help please!

I'm getting pretty darn tired of this. I tried to fray away from posting because I believe I've posted a few times on the matter. I'm sorry, but here we go AGAIN: I need you experts to chime in, if you wouldn't mind, PLEASE.
Alright, so since the last problem (severe vibration in steering wheel upon acceleration), I managed to gather enough funds to replace the right axle and hub via the recommendation of the dealership. It was good upon driving it off the lot, but after getting on it (a tad), the problem REMAINED. It isn't AS NOTICEABLE, and the vibration in the steering wheel isn't as "violent", but it's still there. It's more so noticeable on the turns: think of it this way - when I come out from a right turn, and accelerate (normal amount up to say 3-ish k) the steering wheel vibrates (not left and right, but goes left, then left, then left to finally go back to it's original straight position) as it goes back to going "straight"; it goes back in rough increments (sorry, not sure how to describe it!)...uh, it isn't smooth, and you almost have to turn the wheel (f my life.......you guys even understand?!??!!????! lol). I'm not sure if this is yet another problem, or a problem rooting from the same issue, but upon acceleration on the freeway, I noticed that the car veers to the LEFT; we tried taping the steering wheel on a straight road too - it FOR SURE veers to the left. BAH! help?!

phew! well, it hasn't been in any front end accidents. i've been rear ended from the rear twice! once by a kid in a stupid honda prelude, and the other by a king country sheriff patrol car (yeah, I know haha). hm...as far as other accidents that involved any sort of "front end area-ish" collision", there are none! I curbed my right wheel once pretty hard, but the problem was there even before I hit that curb. The problem got worse a few months back and hasn't seem to have gotten any worse? Hm....that's all

Oh, and did I mention that the problem got better AFTER the replacement of the two? What else's connected to that? A novice question I know, but it only proves how DEEP i'm in for...lol

yikes...$$$!
but i saw it myself though, the RIGHT wheel was the only wheel that was wobbling when it got thrown on the lift; although that in reality means nothing...

how in the WORLD could they have been bent? No front end collisions or anything of the sort. Do you think it could be related to the car being lowered? eh?

Its not that the axles are bent. Its that the CV joints are tight at a certain load and the kinda knock around which is the uneven feeling you get through the floor of the car. A Bent wheel will cause a vibration too but it wouldnt be acceleration related.

Bingo.. every action has a reaction. lowering the car you increase the wear and a few bumps here and there and before you know it.. you're either replacing both driveshafts or hubs. I bought GSP shafts for $140 for both w/ free shipping. Had them installed for around ~$150 by my tranny guy. I would recommend that if you get one side done you do the other side as well because the other side sees the same wear and tear that the bad side has seen. I figure lowering the car increases wear on these types of components by two.. so expect to do twice the maintenance and repair. Have them check your hub bearings.. quite often they blame the driveshaft without inspecting the hub.

hm...will do. i know they replaced the hub on the right side, but the driver's side wasn't touched. dang, that really does suck...
i heard it always near impossible to have the drive shaft bend? or was it the axles?

If the shaft bent then I can only imagine that you hit something or there was a catastrophic failure which resulted in an exerted pressure from hub to shaft, but even that's a stretch. They're very solid and I've never seen a bent shaft except from an accident. Do you have the original parts after the swap? I'd like to take a look at the hub..

Have them take a look at the intermediate shaft too. I hope things work out for your Erick. I always say.. I have more repairs than mods.. but what better excuse for a mod than a repair..

Maybe a cracked or bent subframe and/or bad mounts?

I forgot to mention.. you should get your compliance bushings checked out.. I've seen several threads over cracked bushings, also have them inspect the ball joints for damage.. you definitely don't want those to fail

I've took my 07 TL-S for the axel inspection

I've took my 07 TL-S for the axel inspection, since there's a strange weird noise coming out whenever I turn all the way (either right or left) and backing out from my parking spot.

It feels like the surface is not even, and the front wheels are making strange weird noise, like bumping or so.

Anyway, they've gave me a brand new ACURA TL SH-AWD with just 3,000 miles.

It's a heavy car, and got an awesome navigation screen, easier to pair my phone, and got push start button, but still, I don't like at all, still prefer my 07 TL-S.

Your Driveshafts / Axles need replacement .. If you hear metal grinding or clicking on full wheel turns.. those are your CV joints..

They gave you a loaner '09 while it's being repaired? I can't believe your CV's are going so early.. are you lowered? Accelerating hard on full turns?

giorgio.. does this only happen in almost zero degree temps? There may be spec issues with the grease hardening below 5C and the creaking / grinding noises going away as the grease returns to operating temps.. just a thought.. in case you live in the yukon territory

yeah, unfortunately, i don't have the original parts. i wasn't even allowed to look at them ? the 'master tech' worked on them; however, i know a friend looked them over upon initial diagnostic...

you're so right about the mod part LOL

i can't imagine that it'd be bad mounts. although i do that have that problem too (fine in N but vibration throughout the car in D)...i don't think that would cause this problem with the "uneven" turn around of the steering wheel back to it's straight position? the vibration, i mentioned, is only during acceleration - so holding it in 2nd gear up a hill...

They wouldn't let you look at it under the lift??? that's B.S. of them.. It's not that dangerous in the shop.. they probably want you thinking it's as pristine in there as an operating room where *magic* happens.. lol.. in reality, they don't want you talking to their MT b/c they may actually be honest with you..

idk... I think I give my local dealership so much lip service they don't play around with me. Last time I went in I called and asked if it's on the lift, went over and took a look, had a chat for about an hour in the shop with the MT over my car and other's in the shop... some poor bastard paid $125 for that hour b/c it wasn't me..

it may be the steering rack or the P.S system. The TL has speed sensitive steering, my TL has rough increments where you take a curve, and as you acclerate or slow down you can feel the wheel move in notches. All the others I have driven have not had them. It doesn't bother me much, but why fix it if it's not broken...

that's true...i guess you do have a valid point. the only reason why im really going after this is BECAUSE we already paid the 1k+ to have it looked at and replaced via the dealer. ya know what i mean? it was actually, prior to the replacement, quite a pain..and i found myself gripping the steering wheel while driving, especially on the freeway - she'd be EVERYWHERE...
it became a safety issue...

I can't really tell how significant it is.. it appears like it's pulling when accelerating.. (left sided torque steer???)

Is that video after the passenger side swap? Hey.. did you post this a while back.. something about being hit by a patrol car?? I remember seeing this before. I'm probably getting this mixed up..
