Problem with TL - Help!

Hey guys!

Anyways to get too the point, everytime I steer my car to the right, it makes a "crackling" noise on the driver side tire. My prognosis would be a CV shaft that is worn out, these usually don't wear out until at least 100k, but my engine has been replaced before and if I am not mistaken it takes a lot of hits to get the CV shaft out in the beginning. Correct me if I'm wrong. Anyways, anyone know if I'm wrong or if their is anything else wrong? It would be a great help, I was about to buy some stuff for my car, but it may have to be sent to fixing it

Its a crackling sound, sounds like my tire is rubbing constantly (which is not the case). Will try to post vids when I can get a hold of a Video Camera/Camcorder!
