Power steering problem + HUD problem

I have a few different problems with my car that I hope can both get answered in one thread lol.

My power steering acts odd at speed, the car will randomly start steering itself to the left, I can feel the wheel start pulling itself, and I have to firmly hold the wheel to keep it straight. I notice there is more resistance in the wheel turning right than left. I had a 4 corner alignment done, and all of my suspension & brake parts are all good. Is there some sort of system in the power steering for variable ratio/resistance that is acting up?

Also, my HUD above the nav screen for audio, temp & climate control is acting up. It will flicker and turn off, and if I give it a smack it will come back on for a bit. I'm assuming loose connection on the display. How can I remove this to inspect?

Thanks!

The problem is still there, j changed over to my winter tires and it isn't quite as noticeable. It happens more once the car is warmed up, so I'm thinking maybe it needs a steering fluid flush.

04 tl

Same issue with my 04 tl. Do you hear any noises? Chattering from front? Are you loosing power steering fluid? Basically there is a recall on the power steering feed line. If air gets in to the system you will hear chattering from the pump. Easy way to check is leave vehicle running and remove power steering reservoir cap. If there are bubbles in the fluid, air is finding its way in. Can be a bad seal or from line leaking. This makes the pump work harder and can lead to drivability issues. Let me know what you find. I got have a new line otw so will update once installed.

Did this happen before or after the alignment?

No noise or anything. I did do a timing belt 6 months ago and had to remove a power steering line + pump, I topped up steering fluid with a small bottle from stp, not sure if that is not a good fluid to use and/or I introduced air into the system. I did crank the steering full lock both ways to try and push air out, not much difference. Steering has more or less been the same since I had the car. Let me know what happens after installing the hose
