Power steering
Power steering
I have to thank this thread for saving me a bundle. I went to the dealer with the horrible sounding power steering noise when cold. The said they would start with a new belt, if that did not work then the idler bearing, if that did not work then a new pump. I came to Acurazine, researched and it ended up costing me $67.00 for the o ring and labour. This fixed the problem. Why wouldn't the dealer know about a problem like this. Anyways thanks every one for keeping this site a valuable asset for all owners of Acura's
David,
It's an easy repair to do yourself...!!! Take care of it yourself next time, yeah?
Even if you're not mechanically inclined, some of the DIY's on the boards are impressively detailed. Glad it worked out for you man. I can't thank Acurazine ENOUGH for the given knowledge in regards to my previous TL!

I went to buy the o-ring yesterday and they kept trying to talk me into getting the pump. Then when I kept saying NO, they told me they didn't have the o-ring. So i went to the Honda dealership and got one.
