Poping sound from front end
Ive been having an issue upon accelleration out of 1st, and accellerating in reverse. From a dead stop i would hear a pronounced CLICK, very very loud. Took it to acura, one guy wouldnt look at it with out collecting 110.00 from me up front bec it is lowered. Came back, another guy told me it was my brake pads moving around bec they were worn...changed the brakes, same CLICK. Finally get a cool service advisor and he takes the car in and gives me a weak TSX for a loaner. turns out because the car is lowered 1.2" it changed the initial angle of the cv joints, causing the bolt holding them in to loosen. Simple fix. The tech re-torqued the bolts and walllaaah! No more click sound. He said i may need to check the bolt again in a year or so if i keep it lowered. BUT he didnt charge me a penny and even did a good job of washing the ol girl, AND surprisingly didnt say shit about the little supercharger hiding under the hood.
