Hi Everyone, I checked and would like to start a pole for possible legal action against Acura, PLEASE LET ME KNOW HOW MANY OF YOU HAVE THE INFAMOUS NOISEY, CLUNKY, REAR SUSPENSION ON YOUR TL.

mine started making noise at about 500 miles

Perhaps you should point your poll toward 3G TL-S owners. I don't think I've ever read where a standard TL has had this problem. If you have standard TL owners chiming in with the "no Noise" vote, that will certainly skew your findings.

Good luck on this one. I hope Acura gets the message.

My vote went to "Noise still after fix"

They replaced my passenger side strut, even when I told them I thought the noise was on the driver side.
Everytime I go in, they say the driver side is fine, but the noise is still clunking!

 

Korrupted, maybe you can let everyone here know exactly the fix is. I remember you said it was the damper? A lot of people got their struts replaced and that's didn't fix the clunking noise. Maybe you can scan the service order and everyone can print that and take that to their Acura dealership to get the permanent fix that you got.

Not sure why they're still getting clunking after the replace the parts.
I've put 10K miles on since replacing and there is no noise.

 

Dealership just replaced the rear struts and the noise came back after 2 days. What a POS.

Remember this applies to TLS only.

 

My 04' 6MT has a clunk and a squeak in the rear suspension. I had it to the dealer and they fixed it for a while, but it came back. They are going to love me when they do the PS hose recall, I have a list of about 10 items for them to fix.

 

come on folks, there are hundreds of replies under the noisy rear suspension post and only 15 votes on this pole. I know there are a lot more folks with the noisey TLS rear suspension issue.

I dont know why more of you are not voteing, pls. read this a cast your vote, only way acura will listen.

 

My problem is back at 14000 miles. Acura is being unresponsive.

 

mine's going in monday to have both dampers replaced under warranty...hopefully that does the trick
