Like title says I have a 04 Acura TL AT and has this very annoying winding sound. I took these videos to describe the sound. You can hear it more clear in the 3rd one. Hopefully someone can help. I searched but found too many different response. No one really seems to know.

I have the same whine.

It goes away instantly after letting go of the gas pedal.

I've just ignored it the whole time haha

I think I read about the fix being the heat shield. I'm NOT too sure it's the same rattle/pinging/whine as the heat shield one though but I'll try it out soon.

Interested to hear what others have to say...

Oh, and I'll get my own video of the whine up too.
See if I can get the better whine sound quality.

Yea this is very annoying I hate it and some people notice it. I dont this its from the heat shield though. 49 Views someone has to have an answer for us! lol Yea my videos a kinda crappy since it was an iphone lol

I have a whine too at low RPM's, but I dont know if its because thats just how the engine is. I don't have experience with these V6's

i have the same problem some one once mentioned the fuel pump but im to lazy to do trial and error fixes.... i need a fix for this too!!!! some one help!!

i guess no one can help mine is getting really bad i am going in to get my brakes done and tranny flushed i guess ill have fuel pump and injectors replaced any idea what fuel pump and injectors will cost me?

I have the same noise while accelerating. I thought it might be the alternator or something. Hopefully someone has a fix for this.

Another whiner here 04 tl auto I read that it might be the tensioner I haven't tried to listen with my stethoscope yet but I'm thinking that's the culprit.
