I brought this 05 TL to my wife as a gift and she was happy till there is a kinda Cracking or Recharging sound at starting engine, and it only happened maybe 2 out of 10 times. However, i took this car back to dealer for service last month and they cound not find any problem with it. But the problem still there.... sad. does anyone has same type of problem? or any suggestion or solution for it???

I had the same thing happen to me. The last time it happened, it seemed that the electrical system in the car was disconnected and I had to re-enter my radio code. And, as you might have guessed, the dealer couldn't reproduce it. I guess we'll have to wait for another episode - hopefully not anytime soon.

 

do you think it might simply just be a battery problem, becasue once the car was out of battery overnight without a reason???
