Has anyone experienced issues getting windows in a 2004 TL to rollup? I had to grab and pull up window the other day when it was cold and I rolled down the windows to get frost/moisture off all windows.

Passenger window did this once before when my girlfriend was playing with the window i.e. rolling up then down then stopping etc., was awhile ago. Wondering if this is somethig I can fix or if I am stuck getting the dealer to fix and then paying through the nose for?

Searched a few times on forum for window issues and the only thing I found concerned regulator issues. Girlfriend once again tried to roll down the window and it acted funky.

Car is outo of warranty anyone have any idea what a new window motor/regulator will cost?

 

I have the same problem with my 2004 TL. The window (passenger side) goes up partially then down to a rest. I have to "play" with it two to three times. The dealer said that there was probably an obstruction somewhere in the track. I plan on running a q tip (dry) or just doing a visual on it.
