Passenger Side Mirror Is Loose

Hi how can I tighten this? It looks like its loose or broken.
There is a lot of play in it compared to the drivers side.

Thank you.

Found this in the 3G garage:

Great place to look and search. Something you need to learn.

I have a 2004 350Z roadster. Same problem on the passenger side. After having my local Nissan dealer tell me that the only fix is a brand new complete assembly that would have to be dealer painted to match my roadster at a cost of $600.00 I decided to handle it myself.
The fix is elegantly simple... On the underside of the assembly is a phillips head screw. Take that out and with a very small flat-head screwdriver, pry the plastic plate away. This will expose three other phillips head screws. Using a very short shafted, large bite screw driver, tighten all three. Replace the plastic plate. Done. It will take no longer than 5 minutes.
Your mechanical expertise for this procedure by my calculation is worth $7,200 an hour...... Good Luck

So about 5 months later I decided to take a crack at fixing this.

I did not remove the door panel as stated in the link above.
I carefully peeled back what I needed. First roll down the window and you can take off the inside trim around the window frame and lead down to where the mirror attaches. That pulls out of the door panel carefully and let it hang where you can get in there with a wrench or needle nose pliers to tighten the four nuts holding the side mirror. Push against the side mirror while tightening these to get them all the way firm. That's it, and take your time aligning the black trim and rubber that you peeled away, make sure it lines back where it goes.

That was my only problem one of the 4 bolts was very loose and another a little loose. Was causing rattling noises from the mirror shaking on the highway. Thanks for the help guys and so you know if you are careful you dont have to remove the door panel which sounds like a PITA
