Hi, Ive only had my car for about a week and for some reason the automatic lock system doesn't work on my front passenger door. It worked fine for the first week and today it just quit. Is this a common problem and how can this be fixed ?

actuator is done. Can do it yourself or if you bought it from a dealership bring it in. I think they may charge you $150 if you're out of warranty but ask for acura care to cover it. Known problem.

bump i know you can order the actuator from a Honda dealership but is the part number the same for a Honda?

 

To test......
Disconnect the 2P connector form the actuator.
Momentarily connect battery voltage across the terminals.
One way is lock - cross the connections for unlock.
If no response, needs replacement.
