Passenger cv axle stuck

Have a broken cv axle on passenger side. Removed hub and now the cv axle wont budge off of trans axle. Any tips or ideas on what to do?

Go to your local AutoZone and loan these two tools

Wrap a shirt around the slide hammer grip, and slam it with as much force as you can. You should get it out in no time.

I had to use a pry bar to dislodge the driveshaft from the intermediate shaft.
