passenger airbag indicator on after installing CAI

I took AEM CAI today to install. After installation, air bag indicator comes on. I don't know exactly what's going on but installer says he needs to put a code in to turn it off. What's going on here? Has anyone occurred same problem?

sounds like whoever installed the CAI either damaged the sensor thats right near where the filter sits, or disconnected it, and turned the car on

Juno here's pics I took of my install. I circled the where the connector is located

Maybe they smacked into it while trying to take out the stock intake tubing.

Like said above they may have damaged or disconnected the airbag sensor, which is located on the frame rail, you will see a yellow connector going to the sensor. I would take it back to the shop and have them pull the code if they have a scan tool that can read SRS dtc's. If not you can always take it to the dealer and have them pull the code to see what it is, but if it has anything to do with the left front srs airbag sensor they probably will charge you to fix the problem if it has anything to do with your intake install!

Basicly, once you unplug the sensor , srs control unit will record the code,( history code) which is stay in SRS unit. UNtil it clear then the light will go out. All you have to do is bring to dealer and state you dont know what happen let them clear the code. So they wont charge you. Good luck. But if they charge over $100 then open your yellow page, and call private airbag they can do it cheaper. If you live around me, i can help...I am from east coast.
