Need help.

I noticed recently that when my parking lights are turned on, the left light would not light up. The same even when i turn on the head lights. There is only one bulb when I look into the parking light assembly (under yellow lens cover).

The funny thing is that the same light works fine when I turn on the left signal light. It blinks fine. I have checked all fuses. I am not sure what the problem is. Acura offered to examine it for a charge. The car is no longer under warranty since I have 64K.

BTW, if I was to fix this my self, how would I get to the light assembly. Please include photos with directions on the repair.

The bulb has 2 filiments in it. It is just a bad bulb. It is kind of like 2 bulbs inside of one. You can accces that bulb thru the fender well.

 

what do you mean thru the fender well? any photos?

 

That meansturn the wheel to the opposite direction of the bad bulb
Use a flat tip screwdriver to remove the 3 holding clips from the inner fender
Pull the innefr cover away from the fender and bumper
Remove the socket assembly by turning it counter clockwise
remove bulb by pushing in and turning counterclockwise
install new bulb in socket and clockwise locks everything back in place

test!!!!

Replace inner cover and clips

 

I think is shows you in the owners manual how to chnage the bulb.

If you cant figure out what a clip is, get professional help

 

mine went out today.
okay quick fix, just a bulb.
but i actually like how it looks with my headlights blacked out.
it's just the HID beaming out of blackness.

on my 03, the signal went fast, but for the 3g, I'm fine without the parking light.


i would just like both headlights to match.
