Here is a pic of my parking brake boot. Don't know how the previous owner did this but it's annoying me and looks ghetto. Unfortunately, if you order this from Acura it is the whole assembly down into the console for $155. Is there some way to just fix this part? I would go aftermarket if it looked good and was reasonable.

What you could try, if you can get that existing boot off. Take it to an upholster shop, and see if they can duplicate it with black leather. Should be cheaper than 155.

 

Or I would suggest that you talk to the parts guy and see if can be split up.

 

Have you tried to remove it? Does it look like the boot will come off with out having to take it all apart?
