Paint issue and problem with the trunk
So i just got home from a one month vacation. My 04 nbp had to be parked outside for the first two weeks and then it was washed and moved into the garage by my dad. Now there are still some remaining marks on the trunklid from bird droppings that accumulated over those first two weeks. They are kind of like outlines of where the droppings were. I've washed, clay barred, and waxed the blemishes and nothing has fixed them. What's the best solution to this?

My next problem is with the trunk floor. There was no spare in the car when i bought it and the previous owner had put this 12" sub in the trunk and it seems to have caused it to cave in slightly. I'm assuming i'll probably have to buy a replacement for that center piece in the trunk floor and put something under it to support it. Any ideas? It's kind of difficult to see how concave it really is in these pictures.

polish/compound may help the spots out but it looks like the bird droppings etched in. Bird dropping are acidic and can cause a lot of paint spots!
As far as the trunk, stop by a junk-yard and you'll be able to get the spare tire and foam insert for fairly cheap. Put that back in there and the floor will fix itself!

You may want to check out the Wash and Wax section for other possible solutions for the paint. Here's the link:

Unfortunately the paint is actually cracking and there's no real way to repair it by just buffing/waxing/claybar-ing.
Respray/repaint req. Or vinyl it black if you've been wanting to do it.

I was hoping for better news about the paint but I figured it wouldn't be an easy fix. Same thing happened to my truck but it was a lot less noticeable with that color. Black shows everything. Thanks for the help, and i'll look out for a junkyard spare!
