Paint flaking on top door trim...

I have some paint chipping/flaking off the piece of the door trim that is all the way at the top of the door, next to the glass, on the driver's side. It's down to bare metal over about 1/16". Has anyone else had this problem?

Here's a pic. It's tough to see the bubbling, but you can see where it's flaked off.

The bubbling is occurring right next to the window. It looks much worse in the daylight. It's not so bad now, but I know it will get worse.

You think this could be a warranty claim? I'm still under B2B.

if you are under factory, you can claim it. That will happen with age as it's vinyl/plastic over some chrome trim. If you peel it back there is chrome underneath it. A lot of TSX guys like to pull it off and have chrome trim around their windows.

Is that the original trim? It looks gray, or really washed-out. Perhaps that is just caused by the camera flash reflection?

On my silver TL, the trim is a deep glossy black which matches the finish on the door/B-pillars, and the end-caps are black as well.

Guys, I have a similiar problem with a dent on the passenger side window trim that is glossy black on my 07 TL. Can this be removed and replaced with another piece of trim easily, or is it difficult and expensive?

Does anyone know how much it would run to buy and install the black trim piece next to the window on a silver 07 TL
