P0741 - Engine Code (TCC Circuit Stuck off) any mechanics in Phx?
Hi Guys,
Hoping for some guidance here. Since I've owned my 2005 TL i've had no issues but i think with the car closing in on 160k miles, i think its giving me signs I'm gonna have to start to look for another car.
I recently moved from CT to the Phoenix area, just wondering if anyone else recommends a good mechanic who I can take my car to. The Acura dealership here just for a A12 service wanted to charge me close to 180. Just looking for a honest mechanic who can help.
Here are the issues the car is having
1.) Yesterday got the P0741 Code:
- From what I read its signs the transmission is starting to fail. Can anyone tell me what the part number is for that. I was told my car has two of them I would need to swap out?
2.) Intermittent Issue
- I've been having issues where when go to start the car it just wont' turn over and I just hear a click
- TO get the car to start I've either had to have it jumped or just wait a bit and it just turns back on.
- The issue stopped happening but I'm still leaning towards replacing the starter just to be safe
If anyone can help it would be much appreciated
-Sergio

- One weird thing I've noticed is when i start the car w/o stepping on the brake it happens less.
