hey guys. my xenon blue LED DRLs that I bought from ijdmtoy are out. I got some replacement 9005 bulbs from ebay that are 5k and was putting them in today. Guess what? they aren't fitting where my original LED DRLs connected. I feel like the pins are a little different or something. For the ijtmtoy harness kit, do 9005 bulbs fit or did I get wrong size, or did I get ripped off from ebay?

I just checked again and I noticed rust forming on the connector where my original LED DRLs are plugged in. Also on the 9005 LED DRL bulbs that I bought from ijdmtoy, the pins are rusted up. Not sure if that's what might be the issue, because I pushed the new 9005 bulbs in and they went in to the connector, but its all rusted up. I'm not really sure how.

 

My JDM bulbs rather broke before burning out. I bought 5$ amazon replacements and they've been working great. JDM's bulbs suck

 

Did you guys get an error code for these bulbs?

No I didn't get an error code. They were working fine for a yr then they started flickering then they just went out. I think the rust might be the problem

 

Their tower LEDs always have problems eventually.

I bought LEDs from JLC to use with their harness.

I also electric tape every connection to prevent moisture from getting in.
