OOPS! Adhesive remover
OOPS! Adhesive remover
So I debadged my car today, used some of those OOPS! (Advanced Auto Parts) adhesive remover and now where I applied the stuff is kinda blurry, what to do?

in order for us to help you, you have to help us with a better description.
Blurry, what do you mean? did you get all of the adhesive from the de-badge off?
what happens when you wipe the blurry spots with a clean, dry microfiber towel?
Pictures would be nice. it could help us solve your problem.

This will take it out after some rubbing.. Good for smaller areas.

This will take it out faster.. Good for large areas with deeper scratches

I think the #4 cut would be best. It will also take out any fine scratches you may have put in there.
After you use this, you will be tempted to leave it as is.. But its not a wax. You can wait a few days to wax it if you want to.

I wouldnt try anything until you figure out what it is.
is it adhesive?
is it paint? meaning, is your actual paint blurrying? is it coming off?
you still havent answered my other questions.
what is in the "oops"?
hope it doesnt have anything that messes up the paint.

You basically put fine scratches in the paint by taking off the sticky residue. As long as all the sticky business is off the paint, go to your local parts store and pick up some polish, use a microfiber towel to polish out your scratches, if needed get a more abrasive polish, a compound, and lightly use with a microfiber. As far as a final wax, turtle wax isn't the best product but it will work fine
I have worked at a car delership for 6 years taking stickers off, badges off, and removing adhesive on nearly a daily basis. I am just assuming (and you know what they say about assuming) that this is what he did. Like I said in my post, if there is nothing on the paint (sticky residue etc.), it is most likely simply scratching
If you find in the end that the cloudyness is not just adhesive residue before you go buying the Megs #4 or the #205 in large containers with shipping ... most auto stors carry the Meguiars Ultimate compound for around $10 and it is great on spot problems.

But first off try rubbing alcohol on the area to see if its just residue.
