Hey, can one help me determine the problem..my heat basically only get warm/ hot when im in motion mainly around 40mph but when im idle or come to a stop it gets cooler....ive seen threads with this issue but no clear resolution.

 

The most reasonable cause of this is low coolant flow. This can be due to the coolant level being low, the coolant pump having a problem, or the coolant system having a leak or blockage.

Check your coolant level.

The coolant system should be sealed, so it should never go anywhere. It should never be burned, used, or leak. If your coolant is low, you might want to find out why.

 

Could be your water/ coolant valve.
