under the driver's seat there's one tube that has 2 holes. it is the tube where air comes out when u turn on ur fan/AC.
a coin rolled into tube from my bag and now whenever i drive the coin keeps on moving UP and DOWN which is really annoying
is there a way i can take it out?? right now I THIKNK the coin WENT INTO the tube and is located a lil infront of the seat.

Oh my god, oh my god I thought this was life or death question that's why I rushed to the rescue and all this fuss is about is a coin in the air vent, oh my god. Just kidding! Use a magnet or something with a magnetic tip or better yet take the whole tube out, it shouldn't be hard maybe you have a treasure of coins down there just waiting to be found, if you do please share! :-{}

I forgot to mention, you could use a powerfull vacuum cleaner, like those at the gas stations or your own, whatever, just be sure not to suck in the engine and transmission through the that vent along with it! Another negative could be that this way you could lose your coins and other stuff (intake manifold???) never to be found again! Good luck!

Ya know, I was thinking the same exact thing....and no, they are not magnetic. If fact, isn't the magnetic test one of the tests vending machines commonly do to detect fake coins ?

So I guess it's either the vacuum, disassembly or living with it.

And yes, as evidenced by all the ranting on this BBS, I do believe that rattles and other noises produced by the TL have risen to OMFG/Life Death status

if you really want it out. you can take out the front seat. the air duct runs forward into the foot area along the console then goes up near the trim piece on the left of the center console then has a bend wear where it connects to the main vent which is under the center console. where the bend is the 2 ducts just slip together and can be pulled apart and back together fairly easy. so you can pull the vent piece out and get the coin out. if you need any other help let me know, thats kind of a summary of it all.
