Not much.
She hit the limiter a few times ( ), but it was a mile, low throttle, 45 mph.
You'll live.
FWIW - try the decaf.

I can just imagine Grandma though, "What the heck is that?!?!" as the car hits the limiter. She lets off the accelerator and everything seems normal. She accelerates , "What the heck is that?!?!". "I better call TL|GTX, because something is wrong with his new car."

Yeah, I'd be pissed to if my wife or one of my kids did that.
I really doubt she "rode the limiter" the whole way.
As long as it seems fine, feels fine and no CEL, don't worry about it. Serisously.

there is nothing wrong with the car- dont sweat it at all
the dealer will charge you a hundred bucks and say `thats the point of the rev limiter- forget to shift and it lets you know,`
Another ziner with a earlier year model that did shift into SS-2 for you, had been drinking and let girlfriend drive- got on the freeway- badaaa badaaaap badaaappappapa car shaking woke him up- he sees the tach and the shifter position and puts it in drive.
No problems- just need to educate anyone who drives your car.
The shifter is pretty freaky gate- and can confuse anyone just looking for D
Everyone should test the rev limiter to know what it feels like- if you ever hit it by accident- you know what it is,,,,surprised me one day!

you car is fine, don't worry about it, the rev limiter is actually positioned 300 RPM before the motor's actual redline as ALL Honda cars have a 300 RPM error at the top end, that is why hondata can raise it by 300.
