Hey guys, I'm new here and don't know much about cars so bare with me! I've got about 6300 miles on my '05 TL, and had an A1 message for service. I called the dealer and they said it would be a rotation and oil change. Instead of going to the dealer I went to the place that usually does my tires for oil and rotation just to save some $.

So anyway today my oil life still says its at <15%, and the service message won't go away. Any ideas of what's going on?

 

yep - you gotta reset your MID after an oil change. It is in the manual (not blowing you off, just do not know steps off top of my head)

It is easy to do.
